Thank Eric to taking over the maintainership!įixed couple bugs introduced in last versionīugfix: tab insertion/completion decidion correction. Fedora Server is a powerful, flexible operating system that includes the best and latest datacenter technologies. So go to vimscript#1643 for the new version. The script has MOVED (since Eric Van Dewoestine is the new maintainer). Save it to ~/.local/share/applications as "sktop" or any name that ends with ".SuperTab : Do all your insert-mode completion with Tab! Using the gsettings commands above you can make a program for yourself that alternates between light and dark theme fully like below. Save it to ~/.local/share/applications as "sktop" or any name that ends with ".desktop": There are also I assume old programs that will not implement the prefer-dark thing. Idk if they're doing this as a way to force more developers to add it to their programs, but switching to dark theme, especially through the actual settings app should result in dark theme everything. You may get an error for the new GNOME dark mode present in GNOME 42 (the prefer dark thing) if you use it on an earlier version.īy the way, in case the GNOME devs read this, IMO, the GNOME Appearance settings in the final release of F36, or later down the line should change the GTK theme too. Gsettings set workspaces-only-on-primary false*** this is for Fedora 36. # workspaces to apply to all monitors (else if you have an app on your second monitor it will remain when you switch) You’ve probably also heard the term Trilby hat which refers to a hat in the fedora style which has a narrow or stingy brim. Gsettings set -providers disable-external true A fedora, which can also be known as a snap-brim hat, is a soft felt hat with an indented crown that is approximately 4-6 in height and a soft brim 2-4 wide. # disable searching for anything but your installed applications Gsettings set .color night-light-enabled true Gsettings set .color night-light-temperature 2700 Gsettings set .color night-light-schedule-automatic false Gsettings set .color night-light-schedule-to 0 Gsettings set .color night-light-schedule-from 0 00:00 00:51 SuperTab 50 ODT is a highly consistent, monohydrate lactose. Now I really don't want to use Windows again. This takes hours / days in windows to get everything right, and eevn if there is a cmd/powershell possibility, it would probably be way more complex. The fact of the matter is that, with this, you can have a post-install script that basically sets everything up for you, including settings, extensions and extension settings. I've included those at the bottom if anyone's interested. ![]() Now that I know this, using dconfig editor, I was able to very quickly locate all the things I change through System Settings and Gnome Tweaks and convert them into simple terminal commands. I always installed dconf-editor, but didn't realize it's basically gsettings with a graphical user interface, so I never really made changes to it lol. I just discovered this gsettings thing, which really confused me in the past. it install / uninstalls all apps I want, copies all their configs and other special things, disables some system services etc. I've been working on a post-install script. ![]()
